 How to map shared drives

Solution

31 FSS Users Mapping Shared Drive:

STEP 1 - Copy and paste this path into the "Type here to search" box (Bottom left of the screen)

\\avodm03\wingdrive$\31MSG\31FSS\1.31_FSS_IT_Helpdesk

STEP 2 - Once the new window opens double click "Map_My_Drive" 

STEP 3 - When Security Warning displays, SELECT 'Run'

STEP 4 - Type the number 4 and Press ENTER

 

***Once Completed all drives you are assigned to will automatically populate***

 NOTE: If you are missing the R: Drive please follow the instructions below

STEP 1 - In the 'Type here to search' type File Explorer --> hit Enter

STEP 2 - When the Window opens select "This PC" on the left column

STEP 3 - Select 'Computer' at the top of the window, it's located between File and View

STEP 4 - Select "Map Network Drive" 

STEP 5 - Change 'Drive' to R:

STEP 6 - In the 'Folder' box copy and paste \\avodm02\AVO-RDR1\31fss_r\31FSS\XX\XX

STEP 7 - Replace the 'XX' with your Flight and office symbol - for example: \\avodm02\AVO-RDR1\31fss_r\31FSS\FSR\FSRI

STEP 8 - Once you have the path filled in correctly select 'Finish' 

STEP 9 - If you get an error or access denied select OK

STEP 10- Submit a ticket 

If you still do not see your shared drives you are trying to map, please continue to submit a ticket.
